Pokemon Unite May 2023 leaks reveal the addition of Intelon, Leafeon and more

The arrival of Umbreon and Leafeon is now a kind of guarantee. However, the fray doesn't stop including the list of Pokemon there. The latest announcements reveal another Pokemon which is coming soon, while Leafeon and its movesets have also been revealed. Let's take a quick peep into which Pokemon is coming to Unite as part of announcements and leaks in May 2023, and everything else players would need to know about it.

Intelon, the Gen VIII Starter joins Pokemon Unite

It has been a while since we got our last starter Pokemon in UNITE. It was the Kalos starter Delphox who arrived long ago and made the case clear that someday a Grass-type and a Water-type starter would arrive too, to balance things out. Pokemon UNITE via their Twitter handle, has announced that the Water-type starter from Galar, Inteleon, is to be coming to the game. As expected, it would be having 3 evolutionary stages of Sobble, Drizzile, and Inteleon.

It is not clear, however, which role it would come with. However, based on its moves and battle style in the anime and Pokefans' discussions, Inteleon would either be a Speedster or a Sniping-styled Attacker, just like Decidueye. The date of its release is still unknown.

Pokemon Unite May 2023 leaks: Leafeon gets its movesets

Leafeon, the Grass-type Eevelution, is scheduled to arrive in the game on 7th June. The Speedster is coming with all its Grass-type moves, some of which may include the likes of Leafage, Leaf Blade, etc. Some graphics were available in Youtuber Superteed's video, and the moves surely looked like those. Furthermore, a few more pictures hint towards the arrival of Pokemon like Tropius, and some other Pokemon, as speculations.

Lastly, as there would be 3 Water and Fire-type starters, while only 2 Grass-type starters, our speculation is that, a Grass-type starter would also be coming to join the fray. Our money would be on either Sceptile (arguably Ash Ketchum's strongest Grass-type Pokemon) or the Generation IX starter Spirigatto. The latter is more likely because it is the starter Pokemon for the latest anime version's protagonist, Liko. Only time will reveal the new Pokemon.
