Karan Johar's 'Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani' featuring Ranveer-Alia gets a new release date

Since Karan Johar revealed that Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani will be his next film to direct, fans have been incredibly enthusiastic. With this movie, KJO will end an almost 7-year absence from directing. Veteran performers like Dharmendra, Shabana Azmi, and Jaya Bachchan will also appear in key parts alongside Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh in this movie. Alia Bhatt's maternity leave began just before the movie's filming was finished. Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani was originally scheduled to be out on February 10, however, that date has been postponed. Alia shared the new movie release date on her Instagram account today.
The movie starring Ranveer Singh will now be released on July 28, 2023. Sharing the posters, the cast members wrote, "Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani.. releasing 28th July 2023."
On his Instagram page earlier in November, Karan Johar shared a statement about the movie's release date. He added in his message that the movie will be shown in theatres on April 28, 2023.
His note read, "After 7 years, it's time for me to return to my first home- the cinemas. I had the absolute honour of working with not one, but many illustrious actors on the set of my 7th film. The familial nostalgic feeling of an ensemble cast, creating music that captivates the hearts and a story that runs deep to the roots of our family traditions."
The BTS pictures from the sets of the film had already generated a buzz and now we eagerly await to watch it on the big screens.
