Disha Patani goes for Varanasi darshan - Times of India
Disha Patani visited Varanasi on Tuesday. On a private visit, the Ek Villian Returns and MS Dhoni: The Untold Story actress explored the city during her brief stay. In the evening, she reached the Dashshwamedh Ghat to be part of the famed Ganga arti organized by the Ganga Seva Nidhi.
Casually dressed and wearing a mask, she enjoyed the arti sitting amidst other devotees who were unaware of her presence. Earlier accompanied by her local friends, she also performed the Ganga puja. She made offerings to the holy river amidst chanting of the mantras by the priests.
According to Sushant Mishra, President of the organizing team of the Ganga arti, "She stayed for more than half an hour for the arti and seemed quite mesmerized by the ritual as she constantly captured the moments on her mobile phone. We later honoured her with a duppata and prasad. She shared that she enjoyed every moment of her time spent at the arti."
Later, Disha boarded a bajra and went for a boat ride which is a must do activity for any visitor to the city.
