Debby the Corsifa, a vicious devil, resides in the depths of hell. She is the most powerful demon ever, and no being in hell could defeat her in a fight. Yet, she is also the biggest airhead ever, which is ironic.

Debby despises losing and is currently bored because she can't battle with anyone good enough. But now that Debby is bored, she intends to exterminate everyone to get off some steam.

Sugo Rokurou, a high school student, is stacking cards in his room to pass the time because no one is home, and he has grown tired of all the games. When he wonders if anyone is free, a dark swirl arises out of nowhere in his room. As Debby steps into the human world, she challenges Sugo to a combat he can neither conceive of winning nor enduring.

Panicking for his life, Sugo dares her to play a game of "old maid" as a better and safer way to kill time; Debby accepts the challenge on one condition:: if Sugo loses, he better knows what he is going to deal with.

Debby refuses to give up until she beats Sugo in a game. But she has no luck with it, and Debby gets sad. Sugo gets her some cookies to console her, to console her, which she is happy to devour. While eating the cookies, Debby gets a call from hell and realizes she can't stay in the human world for more than an hour.

Debby The Corsifa is Emulous Chapter 23: Recap

As we know, Debby was sad about summer ending; when she arrived on earth, Sugo was waiting to compete with her in a game of water fight. But this reminds Debby of summer, and she gets sad again. Sugo now decides to cheer Debby up, or it won't be good. But all his attempts to put Debby's bad mood don't seem to bework

Sugo then challenges her to a game of origami and who makes it better. While Debby goes through the catalog, she finds a cicada that again reminds her of summer, and she gets depressed again about summer coming to an end.

Sugo having no other option now to make her mood better, gives her the shortcake he had saved for eating together after competing with Debby. Debby gets excited and eats up the shortcake, but as she finishes eating, she realizes all fun things end just like this shortcake was finished, and her eyes well up.

Seeing this, Sugo consoles her and tells her that summer isn't the only fun time and that they can have fun in winter by skating or in autumn by chestnut picking, by which Debby finally cheers up and smiles.

Soon enters Daiblo-sama to check on Debby as Reizu informs her that Debby hasn't been feeling good since that morning, on arriving Daiblo-sama scolds Debby that she can't just be sad about going to work again even before starting work and asks her how a year-long of unemployment can be summer vacation for her.

As we know, Debby was sad about her 'summer vacation' ending, a year-long employment. Thanks to Sugo, she realized there are many fun things to do in other seasons, which cheers her up.

In the upcoming episode, we can expect her to finally start working and exploring all the new things she can do instead of sitting and crying about summer ending.

It surely will be a fun experience for Debby and Sugo as he introduces her to a whole new set of things to do and compete about that only the readers will get to know on reading the upcoming chapters.
