Celebrity photographer opens up how Saif Ali Khan-Kareena Kapoor’s iconic wedding portrait was shot; says, ‘It’s the third generation wearing the same outfit’ - Times of India

Ace photographer Avinash Gowariker who shot the famous wedding portrait of Saif-Kareena Kapoor's iconic wedding, has opened up about how the iconic photograph was captured.

In an interview with a popular news portal, Avinash revealed that great wedding photographers are doing great work. According to him, he doesn't do that as such. He only does that when he has got a personal relationship and he comes in there and does some portraits, and fun shots.

Eloborating further, the photographer added that for Saif and Bebo, he did not do the full wedding, they wanted him to do that one portrait because that outfit is the same outfit that Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi and Sharmila Tagore had worn and Sharmila ji's mother-in-law and Mansoor Ali Khan's father had worn. So it's the third generation wearing the same outfit and that pose also we recreated.
For the universe, Saif and Kareena tied the knot in an intimate ceremony in 2012 and they hosted a grand reception for friends and family.
